Our invited speaker, Jake Jordan, PhD, is our Neuroscience program alumnus. Jake is now a post-doctoral researcher at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and will be presenting his current research: "Lateralization of Hippocampal Spatial Coding". Check out more of Dr. Jordan's work here.
Sapir Soker-Elimaliah, a 4th year PhD candidate in the Developmental Psychology program, will be presenting her paper currently under review: "Visual Attention and Heart Rate Response to Emotional Faces in Relation to Emotion Recognition in Adults". Sapir is looking for publication feedback.
Jessica Buthmann, a 5th year PhD candidate in the Behavioral Cognitive Neuroscience program, will be presenting her research project: “Prenatal exposure to Superstorm Sandy & child neural development”.
Kurt Masiello, a 2nd year MS student in the Cognitive Neuroscience program, will be presenting his Master's thesis project: "Electrophysiological Markers of Discourse Coherence and Semantic Integration".
Atanas Stankov, a 3rd year PhD student in the Behavioral Cognitive Neuroscience program, will be presenting his research project: “Presaccadic visual stimulus affects postsaccadic neural activity during realistic detection task".
